Paul George hits 4-of-16 shots in Game 7 lossSeptember 15, 2020 | 09:02 PM
Paul George hit just 4-of-16 shots, 2-of-11 3-pointers and missed his only free throw in Tuesday's ugly 104-89 Game 7 loss to the Nuggets.
Analysis: PG-13 is going fishing, and while he probably won't admit it, you have to think he's ready to get out of the bubble and go home. George wasn't the only Clipper to struggle tonight, as only Montrezl Harrell played particularly well and the Clippers were run out of the gym in the second half. Doc Rivers and owner Steve Ballmer put together a fascinating team featuring George and Kawhi Leonard, but they just didn't have the juice to get it done in the bubble this year. The Clippers are now 0-8 in games with a chance to clinch a trip to the Western Conference Finals, while the Nuggets became the first team to overcome two 3-1 deficits to advance for a date with the Lakers in the WCF.
