Raptors face added complications w/ player travelMay 21, 2020 | 12:00 AM
With NBA teams preparing to recall players to home markets as early as June 1, the Raptors face an added complication -- at least half of their players are currently outside Canada.
Analysis: Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, Norman Powell, OG Anunoby and Terence Davis are among the players and staff not in Canada. They'd be allowed to travel for work, but would then face a 14-day quarantine before doing any work at the Raptors' facilities. Beat writer Michael Grange reports that they might create a new site within the U. S. to conduct "what most expect to be a three-week training camp." This is yet another example of the complexities facing any resumption of the 2019-20 season.
