Barnes (personal) will not be available for the start of training camp this week, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports. Barnes has been granted an excused personal absence by the Raptors, so there's no cause for concern here. The point forward is expected to join the team later this week, so it's likely that he'll be available for Sunday's preseason game against the Wizards if his conditioning is up to par.
