Nets F Rodions Kurucs intends to play in Summer League. "My focus this summer is working on ... my handle, my shot, defense, rebounding, physicality for sure," he said. "Everything, basically, because I will need them next season." Nets GM Sean Marks praised Kurucs' play as a rookie but said he was "almost a baby deer out there, where he doesn't know quite what he's getting into." Head coach Kenny Atkinson said he's "more like a cheetah than a baby deer," but no matter the animal analogy it's clear Kurucs will be a staple of the rotation in 2019-20. Whether he has fantasy relevance depends largely on what moves the Nets make in free agency.
