Will Barton looked great in the Nuggets preseason finale on Thursday, scoring 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting to go with eight rebounds, four assists, one triple, one steal and one turnover in 22 minutes off the bench. Mike Malone said prior to the game that he was still undecided as to who would start at the three-spot, but added that he would use this game and the next few practices to come to a firm decision. The battle for the starting gig appears to be between Barton and Torrey Craig, but Barton vastly outplayed Craig in this one, so it feels like the odds are in his favor of winning this thing out heading into the regular-season opener. He's back on the radar as a late-round flier.
