Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Stifled for just three yardsOctober 25, 2016 | 07:55 PM

Boyd caught a three-yard pass from three targets in Sunday's win over Cleveland. Boyd was a candidate to fill the No. 2 slot opposite A. J. Green once he was drafted to the receiver-depleted Bengals. As the halfway point of the season approaches, veteran Brandon LaFell has solidified his place above the rookie. Since Boyd's six catch outing in Week 2, LaFell is the better of the two in catches, 20 to 12, yards, 242 to 143, and touchdowns, four to zero. With Tyler Eifert easing his way back, leaving fewer passes to go around, it wouldn't be prudent to expect a sudden spike in production coming around the corner.
