Bucs looking to extend Tom Brady in offseasonFebruary 24, 2021 | 06:13 AM

Bucs GM Jason Licht said "it's a possibility" the team extends Tom Brady this offseason. Analysis: "He certainly didn't look like he slowed down any this year," Licht said. "We'll have to see how that goes. He really had a good time this year winning the Super Bowl. Likes our organization, likes our coaches, likes our ownership and we certainly love him. We'd like to keep this going." Brady is signed through next year at $25 million. He's said he wants to play until he's at least 45, so the Bucs are likely to give him a one-year extension this offseason. Tampa can also clear cap space by converting some of Brady's 2021 salary into a bonus.
