Chris Carson Expected To Return To Practice ThursdayOctober 13, 2021 | 06:16 PM
Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (neck) didn't practice on Wednesday but is expected to return on Thursday, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Carson missed last Thursday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams and is questionable to play this weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. If he's truly a game-time decision this week, he'll be extremely risky with the game coming late on Sunday. On top of it, Seattle lost quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) for six to eight weeks. Backup Geno Smith looked good in limited action to close out last Thursday's game, but this offense will have a much tougher time moving the ball consistently. If Carson misses another game, Alex Collins should continue seeing most of the work with DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer serving in change-of-pace roles.
