Derrick Henry mum on upcoming free agencyJanuary 20, 2020 | 12:00 AM
When asked about his upcoming contract negotiations, impending free agent Derrick Henry said, "I am sure it will get worked out."
Analysis: "Right now, we just lost a game. I am not even thinking about no contracts or things like that," said Henry in the aftermath of Sunday's season-ending loss to Kansas City. Coming off a season that saw him lead the league in rushing yards with 1,540, the former Heisman winner should be a coveted free agent, though the Titans have more than enough cap space ($60.15 million) to retain him on a lucrative long-term deal. The 26-year-old could command a deal similar to the market-setting six-year, $90-million windfall Ezekiel Elliott received from Dallas last summer. Source: ESPN.com via Rotoworld.com
