George Pickens reportedly being traded to CowboysMay 07, 2025 | 04:08 AM
The Pittsburgh Steelers are finalizing a deal to send WR George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys, according to multiple reports.
Writer's Analysis: The Cowboys have been criticized this offseason for failing to address the WR position, where they have CeeDee Lamb and not much else. Now, they add a legitimate No. 2 in Pickens. The 24-year-old caught 59 of his 103 targets for 900 yards and three touchdowns in 2024 and has 174 receptions for 2,841 yards and 12 touchdowns over the course of his three years in Pittsburgh, despite dealing with inconsistent QB play. In Dallas, he steps into a high-floor situation, as long as Dak Prescott stays healthy in 2025. The Steelers, meanwhile, acquired WR D. K. Metcalf this offseason but now have their own questions at both WR and QB heading into the season. Source: FantasyPros
