Hollywood Brown to be 1st receiver drafted?April 19, 2019 | 11:48 AM

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Oklahoma WR Marquise Brown is "in the mix" to be the first receiver taken in next week's draft. Despite concerns over his size (5'9"/166) and health status--a Lisfranc injury kept him from competing at last month's Combine--Rapsheet said it "wouldn't be a surprise" if Brown is the first receiver off the board Thursday night. Rapoport also noted that D. K. Metcalf, a 99th-percentile SPARQ athlete and the player many have viewed as the top receiving prospect in this year's class, is no longer "a lock" to go in the first round. Despite a deep talent pool with plenty of big names, there isn't much clarity at the receiver position right now.
