Jalen Hurts Has Uncertain Status For Week 13November 29, 2021 | 12:24 PM

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (ankle) is dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered in Sunday's loss to the New York Giants. With the team's BYE week coming up, Hurts has an uncertain status for Week 13 against the lowly New York Jets. Should he be held out of the lineup, Gardner Minshew II would be the team's starting quarterback. The Eagles' run-heavy offense would likely once again be put on display even without their dual-threat quarterback, so Minshew wouldn't offer much fantasy appeal even in a great matchup with the Jets. DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert wouldn't have their fantasy value decreased too much, if at all, considering Minshew has shown in the past he is able to support his pass-catchers fantasy-wise. If Hurts is healthy enough to play and is active on Sunday, he would once again be a solid QB1 option for fantasy managers.
