Mike Gillislee officially lands with PatriotsApril 24, 2017 | 01:07 PM

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the Buffalo Bills have declined to match the two-year, $6.4 million offer sheet that RFA running back Mike Gillislee signed with the New England Patriots. Gillislee is now officially a member of the Patriots' organization. Writer's Analysis: Gillislee is the latest Bills player to sign with New England. The Patriots signed Stephon Gilmore the start of free agency and Chris Hogan last offseason. The 26-year-old running back's acquisition likely spells the end for LeGarrette Blount's tenure in New England. Expect Gillislee to seize the vacant role that Blount has left as New England's short yardage/ goal line back. The Patriots will forfeit their fifth-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft in return for Gillislee's services.
