Per GM John Schneider, Sherman also had a "great meeting" with coach Pete Carroll last week. Sherman was absent from the first week of voluntary workouts, but it didn't appear related to bad blood over trade talks. Both sides have been frank about a potential deal, at times appearing to welcome the idea, but it appears Sherman will remain in Seattle for 2017. Schneider said the organization has "kind of moved past" the possibility.
