Avalanche's Nazem Kadri: One of each in winOctober 13, 2021 | 10:49 PM

Kadri scored a goal on five shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks. With Nathan MacKinnon (COVID-19) sidelined, Kadri filled in as the Avalanche's top-line center. The 31-year-old set up Gabriel Landeskog's first-period tally before scoring one of his own as insurance in the middle frame. Kadri struggled last year with 32 points, 170 shots on goal and 36 hits in 56 contests, but his 6.5 shooting percentage was one of the lowest marks of his career. The Ontario native should bounce back this year while logging top-six minutes in a deep offense.
