Nielsen signed a two-year contract with Colorado on Monday. Nielsen has three goals and four assists in seven outings with AHL Colorado this season. His new deal with the Avalanche runs through the 2026-27 campaign. Nielsen attended NHL training camp with Colorado after signing an AHL contract with the Eagles in the summer. Source: CBS Sports
