Carey Price allows 5 goals in OTL to LeafsJanuary 13, 2021 | 07:06 PM

Carey Price allowed five goals on 34 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 OT loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Analysis: Price made a pair of huge stops in the first period, as he robbed Mitch Marner with a right-pad save before making a stunning glove save on Joe Thornton. There were several other key saves throughout regulation and in overtime. The Canadiens played pretty well, but they'll be disappointed to blow a 3-1 in the second period and a 4-3 lead in the third. Montreal will also have to work on their penalty kill, as they gave up two goals to Toronto while shorthanded (one was on a five-on-three in the second frame). Despite giving up five goals, Price looked like he was in mid-season form.
