Chris Tanev appeared to be playing hurt during Game 4 on Tuesday. Analysis: Tanev returned to the lineup for Tuesday's contest, but he certainly didn't appear to be 100%. Still, he managed to keep getting out there and ultimately logged 19:24 minutes. "I think he was very effective (Tuesday). His even-strength minutes, he was very effective," said Flames coach Darryl Sutter. "We're playing four younger defensemen, and those guys need a little bit of a security blanket. Chris Tanev is that, for sure. Not just on the ice, but in the locker-room." The Flames, now down 3-1 in their series to Edmonton, will play on Thursday with everything on the line.
