Dmitry Zavgorodniy working out, preparing for campMarch 25, 2020 | 12:00 AM
Dmitry Zavgorodniy has been working out in preparation for next year's training camp.
Analysis: Zavgorodniy's QMJHL season was cut short because of the COVID-19 crisis, but he plans to use that time off to train and get ready for Calgary's training camp. "I can do real good workouts, where I'll be really tired, and I will have time to recover after," he said. "That's a thing that you can't do in the season, and right now I can work on it. Because I have to be better for pro hockey, for next year. Every day, I'm just working hard. We all have the dream and we're trying to get there. That's the point." The 19-year-old winger will turn 20 in August. He posted 29 goals and 67 points in 40 games with Rimouski during he 2019-20 season.
