The Chicago Blackhawks have traded forward Dominik Kahun to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kahun just finished his rookie season with the Blackhawks, coming over from the German league to put up a very respectable 13 goals and 37 points in 82 games. Chicago will also be sending Pittsburgh a fifth round pick while receiving blueliner Olli Maatta. The Blackhawks took advantage of a cap strapped Penguins club to pick up a solid defenseman, leaving Chicago with a little over $17.2 million in space as we head into the off-season.
