Trent Federic is ready to step into action if any of the Bruins' centers are unable to play due to injury. Frederic registered 22 points in 51 games in the AHL this season but did no record a point in 15 games in Boston. The interesting thing about Frederic, is that he was born and raised in St. Louis and would be cheering for the Blues if any other team but Boston was in the Cup Final against them. "I obviously was rooting for the Blues to make it far, and now it's Blues-Bruins,'' said Frederic."It's unreal.'' Although the Bruins coaching staff has confidence in Frederic, they would prefer that the team's centers remain healthy and he not have to play in the Finals.
