Jonas Brodin gets a full no-movement clauseSeptember 16, 2020 | 12:00 AM
Jonas Brodin's recently signed seven-year, $42 million extension comes with a full no-movement clause that starts immediately.
Analysis: Brodin still has one season left on his six-year, $25 million contract, but that no-movement clause is already in effect. Not that the Wild were likely to trade Brodin so soon after signing him anyways. The no-movement clause also covers the first four seasons of his new contract, which is set to begin in 2021-22. "I love Minnesota," Brodin said. "I love everything about it, the fans, organization, teammates, coaches. I'm super happy, and it feels like home."
