Joona Luoto has been put on unconditional waivers by the Winnipeg Jets.
Analysis: The next step will be the termination of his contract. Luoto had five goals and nine points in 19 games with HIFK of Finland's Liiga last season. He also picked up two goals and two assists in 11 appearances with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL during the 2020-21 campaign.
