Leafs come back to beat Habs in OT on WednedayJanuary 13, 2021 | 07:03 PM

Frederik Andersen turned aside 28 of 32 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 OT win over the Montreal Candiens. Analysis: Yes, these two teams combined to score nine goals but both Andersen and Carey Price played relatively well in this game. The Leafs managed to overcome 1-0, 3-1 and 4-3 deficits before going on to win in overtime thanks to Morgan Rielly. Andersen made a pair of important saves in the extra frame, as he faced Phillip Danault on a breakaway and he stopped Tyler Toffoli's one-timer just seconds before the Leafs scored. The pending unrestricted free agent is off to a nice start and that's good news for a Leafs team that will give up quality scoring opportunities this year.
