The Ottawa Senators have re-signed goaltender Joey Daccord to a three-year contract. Analysis: Daccord will get a two-way deal in his first two seasons, making $700,000 in the NHL in his first season while earning $175,000 at the AHL level and $750,000 in 2021-22 in the NHL ($300,000 in the minors. His final year is a one-way deal, earning Daccord $800,000. The netminder played one game in the NHL in 2018-19, giving up five goals on 40 shots in a loss to Buffalo. "We've been very pleased with Joey's development," said Senators general manager Pierre Dorion. "He's a big, athletic goalie and an excellent puck handler who exudes the necessary confidence to compete at the highest level. He's become a valuable asset within our pool of goaltending prospects."
