Marcus Sorensen has been recalled from HC Vita Hasten of Sweden's HockeyAllsvenskan. Analysis: Sorensen scored 11 goals and 24 points in 14 games in the HockeyAllsvenskan, which is Sweden's second-highest hockey league. The Sharks are presumably recalling Sorensen now so that he'll be ready for training camp in the not too distant future. It's not clear when training camps will start, but if the NHL campaign does end up beginning on Jan. 1 as the league hopes, then most training camps will probably start in mid-December while the Sharks along with the other teams that didn't participate in the NHL's Return To Play might start in early December. It's been suggested that the seven teams that weren't part of the extended NHL playoffs would be granted a longer training camp to help compensate for how long the teams have gone without playing.
