TJ Oshie sustained a fractured right clavicleApril 21, 2019 | 09:42 AM

T. J. Oshie suffered a fractured right clavicle, which resulted in him having surgery. Oshie suffered the injury in Game 4 when he was pushed into the boards Carolina's Warren Foegele. It was quickly apparent that Oshie's injury was serious as Washington coach Todd Reirden said he would miss "quite some time," but the Capitals didn't reveal the full extent of what happened until now. We don't have a timetable for his recovery, but the Capitals are listing him as out indefinitely, which isn't surprising in the least given what happened. It will be tough for the Capitals to move forward without Oshie. He's a great forward and was a major contributor in the 2018 playoffs with eight goals and 21 points in 24 games.
