Vasilevskiy gives up 2 goals in double OT lossSeptember 15, 2020 | 09:21 PM

Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 24 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 double OT loss to the Islanders in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final. Analysis: The Bolts netminder wasn't very busy tonight and this wasn't the most entertaining brand of hockey we've ever witnessed (that's how the Islanders like it). Vasilevskiy made a fantastic save on Mathew Barzal in overtime, but his team couldn't figure out Isles goalie Semyon Varlamov tonight. Vasilevskiy now has a 13-5 record this postseason. He's dropped two of his last three outings, but he has just two losses in his last nine games. Despite the loss, the Bolts still have a 3-2 lead in this best-of-seven series. They'll try to finish off the Islanders again on Thursday night.
